1. Application
a. Those who frequently visit Okura Garden Hotel Shanghai can apply for Garden Card through the recommendation of the managers or salesmen in the restaurants, bars and Mitsukoshi Shop. Cardholders themselves will own membership immediately.
b. Application will be submitted and approved by the hotel management.
c. Membership is free of charge.
d. In case of damage or loss, please contact Planning and Advertising Dept. immediately.
2. Gold Card
If a cardholder spends more than RMB50,000 within one year after issuing the card, an automatic upgrade to a Gold Card will occur.
3. Rights of Garden Card Members
a. Cardholders are entitled to discounts when purchase on presentation of Garden Card.
b. Upon consumption in each restaurant and bar as well as Mitsukoshi, the cardholder is awarded with points. Awarded points can be exchanged into different kinds of prizes. (Please see the “Prize List” for your reference.)
c. Cardholders will be added to the hotel’s circulation lists for promotional material. (Cardholders should have consumption in the latest 6 months.)
4.Duties of Garden Card Members
a. Observe Okura Garden Hotel Shanghai’s regulations.
b. Observe “Garden Card” regulations.
c. The hotel reserves the right to deprive your membership and withdraw the card if you disobey the regulations.
5. Usage instructions
a. Validity
Garden Card is valid at Coffee Shop ROSE, Japanese Restaurant YAMAZATO, SAZANKA Teppanyaki, Chinese Restaurant BAIYULAN, French Restaurant CONTINENTAL ROOM, Cocktail Lounge OASIS, Main Bar YELAIXIANG, Wine & Cocktail Lounge SKY BAR and the Mitsukoshi Shop.
b. Cardholders are entitled to use Garden Card for up to 10 persons.
c. Payment conditions
1) Garden Card should be presented before consumption.
2) The payment should be done by cash, credit card or by signing the bill (for staying guests only).
6. Restrictions of Garden Card
Garden Card is not accessible to the following occasions:
a. Consumption in banquet rooms, rent fee of restaurants and bars and consumptions on drinks in Health Club are not entitled to Garden Card benefits.
b. If the cardholder were not the card owner, we would not offer membership discounts.
c. Membership discounts are not valid in combination with any other coupons or special discounts.
d. Discounts don’t apply to any settled bills or to any credit accounts.
e. Payment by bank transfer is not acceptable.
f. Discounts are applicable only when the Garden Card is handed over to hotel staff upon settling bill.
7. Expiration
a. The card will loose its validity and the card owner cannot apply again in the next year, if the consumption record linked to the usage of the Garden Card indicates a consumption of under RMB 5,000 in the year after issuing the card.
b. Gold card membership is valid for 3 years.
